Tire Company Debica S.A. Amongst Major Polish Exporters
Ranking of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily <br /> <br /> Tire Company Debica S.A. - with the exports accounting for 75.7 per cent of the total sales in value terms in 2010 – is ranked amongst 30 top Polish exporters by the Rzeczpospolita daily. The Company was also upgraded in the general ranking of major Polish businesses by as many as by 44 positions, from the position of 213 occupied in 2009 to the position of 169 in 2010. <br />
Tire Company Debica S.A. - with the exports accounting for 75.7 per cent of the total sales in value terms in 2010 – is ranked amongst 30 top Polish exporters by the Rzeczpospolita daily. The Company was also upgraded in the general ranking of major Polish businesses by as many as by 44 positions, from the position of 213 occupied in 2009 to the position of 169 in 2010.
In 2010 Tire Company Debica S.A. generated revenues reaching almost PLN 1.8 billion of which almost PLN 1,4 billion was generated by exports. In 2010 total sales revenues on the export markets generated by major exporters on the “2000 Top Exporters” list of the Rzeczpospolita daily amounted to PLN 216.6 billion. On average the exports in value terms was up by 17 per cent in 2010 compared to 2009.

„High position of Tire Company Debica S.A. amongst Polish exporters was achieved thanks to close co-operation with the strategic shareholder, which is Goodyear Group, whose member companies present on each and every continent supply high quality tires made at Debica plant. Such good performance was also a result of consistently pursued Company management strategy with the underlying cost efficiency and investments into the production of modern consumer and truck tires” – said Jacek Pryczek, President of Management Board of Tire Company Debica S.A.
Key positions on the Exporters’ List were taken by the automotive companies or vendors supplying or collaborating with the automotive industry. The generated financial performance shows that the value of total exports of automotive including spare parts and accessories, components, ready to use vehicles and engines exceeded € 17 billion, which means that the overall industry improved its performance compared to 2010. It is also expected that in 2011 the automotive industry will also record higher exports.
The Exporters’ List is another list on which Tire Company Debica S.A. was ranked. On the list of 500 Top Businesses in the Central and Eastern Europe called ”Europe 500” of the Rzeczpospolita daily, the Company was ranked on 449th position. The strengthening position of the Company on a nation-wide basis is also evidenced by the findings of analysis of “500 Top Businesses” List of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily. Tire Company Debica S.A. came on 37th place in the category of exports share in total sales. Meanwhile on the list of top five hundred Polish companies in 2010, published by the Polityka weekly, T.C. Debica S.A. won the title of the tire industry leader, thus confirming its growing advantage vis-à-vis its competitors that were ranked on lower positions than in the previous year.
On this year’s list of “Golden Top 100” businesses in the Subcarpathian region the Debica tire marker was distinguished in such categories as company capitalization, employment level and export share in total sales.
Amongst 100 top companies in the region, T.C. Debica was ranked on 5th place in the general classification. Amongst ”Golden Tens” of the best companies in the region, Tire Company Debica S.A. was appreciated in four categories of the poll. For the tenth time in a row T.C. Debica S.A. defended the title of export leader, won the second place in the category highest exchange capitalization at the end of 2010, and came on third place in the headcount level category. Sixth place was granted to the Company for the share of exports in its total sales. The list of businesses by region shows that T.C. Debica is amongst top three most profitable companies in the Subcarpathian region, and in terms of revenues it came on the forth position.
