Dębica Frigo 2 tire performed the best during tests on snow-covered roads
Dębica Frigo 2, Polish winter tire, as a result of winter tire test performed by the “Motor” magazine was ranked number one as the best tire for snow-covered roads. The shortest braking distance, the best snow traction and the best acceleration - are main features of the Polish winter tire. The test of winter tires, size 195/65 R15, was carried out in the Swiss Alps.

"The Dębica Frigo 2 tire was designed for drivers that find it of paramount importance to be able to rely on their tires in toughest road conditions and to drive safely. Certainly the economic aspect including purchasing and operating costs plays also a significant role. The Dębica tire matches perfectly consumer needs, offering excellent grip on snowy roads and high durability" – said Przemysław Zakrzewski, Senior Brand Manager of Dębica Brand at Goodyear Polska Group.
The application of silica-based compound to Frigo 2 safeguards high flexibility in tough winter conditions, offering optimum grip of the vehicle when temperature drops below 7 degrees Celsius. All that translates into higher safety of the driver.
The directional thread and enhanced number of grooves offer more effective evacuation of slush and water, which improve tire resistance to aquaplaning (planing on thin layer of water) and slushplaning (planing on the road covered with slush). Specific layout of thread blocks reduces noise level, while massive blocks in the shoulder area safeguard excellent car handling on the bends.
Key to Figure:
1. Higher resistance to aquaplaning and slushplaning
2. Enhanced grip – in winter conditions combined with good handling
3. Reduced noise level
4. Reduced vibrations – enhanced driving comfort
5. Even tread wear
As it was written in the “Motor” magazine „snow is the kingdom of Dębica tire (…).The thread of Polish tire bites perfectly snow and enables the driver to climb the most steep hills”.

Tires are available in 15 dimensions for the 13, 14, 15 and 16 inch rims, all marked with T speed index (admissible maximum speed of 190 km/h). The tires are applied in the wide range of compact and mid-class vehicles comprising such popular models as Ford Focus or Peugeot 308.
