Distinction in the “Golden 100 Top Businesses in the Subcarpathian Region” for Tire Company Debica S.A. <br /> <br /> Tire Company Debica S.A. has become the export leader on the list of Top Businesses in the Subcarpathian Region. In the annual ranking of the ,,Golden Top 100”, the Debica-based tire maker received distinctions in the following categories: net profit, share of exports in total sales, headcount level and top stock exchange capitalization. This a consecutive year when Tire Company Debica S.A. received the distinction.
Distinction in the “Golden 100 Top Businesses in the Subcarpathian Region” for Tire Company Debica S.A.
Tire Company Debica S.A. has become the export leader on the list of Top Businesses in the Subcarpathian Region. In the annual ranking of the ,,Golden Top 100”, the Debica-based tire maker received distinctions in the following categories: net profit, share of exports in total sales, headcount level and top stock exchange capitalization. This a consecutive year when Tire Company Debica S.A. received the distinction.
On the list of 100 Top Businesses in the Subcarpathian Region Tire Company Debica S.A. took the fourth place in general classification. The Tire Company Debica was distinguished in five out of seven categories of the ranking called “Golden Tens” amongst the best performing businesses in the region. Twelfth time in a row the Company has defended its title of the Export Leader. It came second in the top stock exchange capitalization category, on the forth place in the net profit category, it occupied third place for the share of exports in total sales and in the headcount level category.
“Despite deteriorating market environment, especially in the automotive business, Tire Company Debica S.A. has maintained its leading position, which is evidenced by the Export Leader distinction received by the Company. It confirms the superior quality of tires made by the Company for modern vehicles driven on the roads all over the world. It is also a proof of very good co-operation between T.C. Debica and the Goodyear Group, which procures from us such tire brands as Goodyear, Dunlop, Fulda, Debica and Sava” – said Marta Konopacka, the Communication Director of Tire Company Debica S.A.
A list of leading companies in the region i.e. ”Golden 100 TOP Businesses ” and ”Golden Tens” rankings have been run by the Rzeszow Business School for twelve years now and for seven years now in collaboration with the “Nowiny” daily. In the ranking history the fourth time winner in the general classification was Tire Company Debica S.A.
In 2013 Tire Company Debica S.A. was ranked on 54th place on the list of 100 top businesses with highest growth rate, drawn up by “Forbes”, a prestigious economic magazine. The Company won a general score of 5.14, overtaking such renowned companies as PZU insurance company, KGHM copper conglomerate, Pekao universal bank or InterCars automotive spare parts vendor. The Company was also distinguished by the consumers. The tires sold under the Debica brand were the most frequently mentioned in the “Good Product 2012”, national survey on consumer attitudes and preferences. The survey was carried out by the editorial office of “Business Forum” a supplement to the ‘Dziennik Gazeta Prawna’ daily.
According to the 9th Ranking of the Most Valuable Polish Brands the Debica brand is 13th most frequently selected brand in Poland and took 14th place amongst the strongest non-food product brands and came first amongst competitors from tire business. In the general classification the Debica brand was upgraded to 107th place compared to 126th place that it occupied in 2011. In 2013 Tire Company Debica S.A. received also Top Employers certificate, which is awarded each year by an international CRF Institute to the companies that pursue the best HR policy.

Since 1995 the strategic investor in the Company has been an American concern The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. In Poland the company offers tires under such brands as Debica, Goodyear, Dunlop, Fulda, Sava. It sells its products in Poland and in 60 countries on six continents including but not limited to the Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, USA and Brazil.
