Consumers Ranked Debica Tires As Quality Products in the Survey of Business Forum Supplement to the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” Daily

The Debica tires scored the highest number of references in the “Good Product 2012” national survey of consumer attitudes and preferences. The survey was carried out by the editorial section of “Business Forum” – a supplement to the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” daily. The patronage and business support to the survey was given by the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The Debica tires scored the highest number of references in the “Good Product 2012” national survey of consumer attitudes and preferences. The survey was carried out by the editorial section of “Business Forum” – a supplement to the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” daily. The patronage and business support to the survey was given by the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

The survey respondents replied the questions: what product brands you consider to be the best, trustworthy in a certain category, which product brands stand for quality products. They survey was carried out on a 1000-person-strong sample using a Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) technique.

“I am very happy that the Debica brand won the highest score amongst Polish consumers. This is the evidence that tire users have confidence in the Debica products. The drivers provided tangible evidence that they value our commitment to making tires meeting every increasing requirements in terms of performance and safety” – said Jacek Pryczek, President of the Management Board of Tire Company Debica S.A.

The Debica brand is also, according to the 9th ranking of most valuable Polish brands, published by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, 13th most frequently chosen brand in Poland and it holds 14th place amongst strongest non-food brands and 1st place amongst competitive tire brands. In general classification, Debica brand was upgraded to 107th place from 126th place, which occupied in 2011.

Last year Tire Company Debica S.A. was also distinguished in the elite Newsweek’s “Ranking of 100 Most Valuable Businesses in Poland” where it came on the third place amongst businesses in the automotive sector. Tire Company Debica S.A. was also distinguished in the ranking of key businesses in Poland – “Pillars of the Polish Economy”, prepared by the ”Puls Biznesu” daily and TNS Pentor public opinion poll agency. The ranking is the first in Poland catalogue of major companies, playing a key role in individual provinces, whereas the finalists were designated by the local governments. Top five distinguished companies in the Subcarpathian region similarly to TC Debica S.A., are characterized by economic stability and make significant contribution to the regional development both as employers and the entities supporting development of local community.

Meanwhile in the ranking of top exporters drawn up by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily Tire Company Debica S.A. was ranked amongst 30 top Polish exporters. The strengthening position of the Company on a nation-wide basis is also evidenced by the findings of analysis of “500 Top Businesses” List of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily. Tire Company Debica S.A. came on 37th place in the category of exports share in total sales.

Tire Company Debica S.A. was also ranked amongst listed companies that are the best performers in terms of data reporting to the Polish Association of Listed Companies, which means that they are the most transparent in the field of disclosure of non-financial data related to environmental protection, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.
