Tire Company Dębica S.A. was put on the list of 500 Polish businesses that were the most development-oriented. Top 500 list was drawn up by a team of experts of the International Scientific Network, co-ordinated by the Institute of Economics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Selection criteria included but were not limited to innovative activities taken by a company and standing out, at least, in one key area such as e.g. market or process innovativeness. This initiative is one of the few initiatives of this kind in Europe and aims at the enhancement of the innovativeness of Polish economy and at bridging the gap between Poland and the most developed EU countries.
