14th “Dębica for Dębica” Festivities at the Municipal Stadium
On 28 August 2010 Goodyear Dunlop Tires Polska and Tire Company Dębica S.A. invite to the Municipal Stadium (the site of a former military unit) in Adademicka Street at Dębica where 14th Dębica for Dębica Festivities will be held. The location of Festivities was changed pursuant to the consultations with and recommendation made by municipal policing services: police and fire brigade and the City Council of Dębica.
2010 Dębica for Dębica Festivities: celebrities and charity campaign
On 28 August 2010 Goodyear Dunlop Tires Polska and Tire Company Dębica S.A. invite to the Municipal Stadium (the site of a former military unit) in Adademicka Street at Dębica where 14th Dębica for Dębica Festivities will be held. The location of Festivities was changed pursuant to the consultations with and recommendation made by municipal policing services: police and fire brigade and the City Council of Dębica.
The stadium in Akademicka Street was selected because of its infrastructure and location that secure high level of safety to all guests of Festivities this year. Thanks to the support of Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre the audience at the 2010 Dębica for Dębica Festivities will be able to use not only the stadium itself, but also adjacent grounds, which will enhance the site for Festivities significantly.
„The organization of such event as the Dębica for Dębica Festivities, with thousands of people expected, requires a lot of preparations involving not only the invitation of celebrities but also such issues as sanitary base or comfortable and safe access for the overall audience” – says Marta Konopacka, PR Director of Tire Company Dębica S.A.. “Bearing this in mind we would like to welcome to the Municipal Stadium in Akademicka Street on the last Saturday of vacation, starting from 2.30 p.m.. The youngest children will be awaited by “Uncle Hippo and Friends”, whereas the youngsters will be able to have fun at the amusement park, to play competitions and enjoy a lot of other forms of entertainment. At night the greatest hits will be played by “Perfect” band, and earlier the audience will have an opportunity, among others, to support a selected Dębica social organization during a competition accompanying the 2010 Dębica for Dębica Festivities” – adds M. Konopacka.
„Mass events create a lot of challenges for the services responsible for safety. During preparatory efforts various scenarios and issues have to be considered – starting with logistics, through technical base and ending up with very practical issues such as e.g. distance from the nearest buildings. I do believe that 2010 Dębica for Dębica Festivities, held on the stadium next to the former military unit, will be associated by the audience with good and most importantly with safe fun” – says Andrzej Świder, the Chief of County Police at Dębica.
