TC Dębica closer and closer to the TOP 100 Polish businesses
Tire Company Dębica S.A. upgraded in this year’s list of the “Polityka” weekly.<br /> <br /> Upgrading by 23 positions and the title “Leader of Polish tire business” is the shortest recapitulation Tire Company Dębica S.A. performance on the list of TOP 500 Polish businesses in 2010, published by the “Polityka” weekly. Another prestigious list of Polish businesses, after “TOP 500 List of the Rzeczpospolita daily” confirms good standing of TC Dębica and its growing competitive advantage vis-à-vis its competitors that were downgraded compared to the last year.

Upgrading by 23 positions and the title “Leader of Polish tire business” is the shortest recapitulation Tire Company Dębica S.A. performance on the list of TOP 500 Polish businesses in 2010, published by the “Polityka” weekly. Another prestigious list of Polish businesses, after “TOP 500 List of the Rzeczpospolita daily” confirms good standing of TC Dębica and its growing competitive advantage vis-à-vis its competitors that were downgraded compared to the last year.
The position on „TOP 500” List of the “Polityka” weekly is determined on the grounds of annual sales revenues generated by the company. Thanks to its good financial performance Tire Company Dębica S.A. was upgraded from 156th to 133rd position. If this trend persists, the Subcarpathian export leader can be classified soon amongst 100 top Polish businesses. The attainment of this objective depends largely on global economic trends, since above 75 per cent of Dębica-made tires is exported to foreign entities from the Goodyear Group.
„Last year’s demands growth in the European markets enables us to increase output and to generate higher revenues, which in turn gave us good position on the Polityka weekly list” – says Jacek Pryczek, President of the Management Board of Tire Company Dębica S.A. „Year by year we strive to be higher and higher, since a position in the top 100 Polish businesses is within our reach. A lot depends on the global economic situation including in particular raw material price dynamics” – emphasizes J. Pryczek.
On the list of automotive companies ranked by the „Polityka” weekly on its list TC Dębica came on 13th place – one position higher compared to the last year. Tire Company Dębica S.A. was also classified in the top 30 Polish exporters. The list of businesses by region shows that TC Dębica is top three most profitable companies in the Subcarpathian region, and in terms of revenues it came on forth position.
The experts commenting „Top 500 Businesses” of the “Polityka” daily emphasize that the lead of Polish businesses represents a growth engine of the Polish economy. According to Małgorzata Starczewska-Krzysztoszek, PhD, a chief economist of “Lewiatan” Polish Confederation of Private Employers, the growth engine comprises large exporters. An example can be TC Dębica S.A. that despite challenges in external markets has continued investing into new technologies.
