Smashing Music Ruled at the Goodfest Music Festival!
Two stages, nine exceptional Polish artists and 10-thousand strong audience – the fourth edition of the GOODFEST Music Festival is already behind us. The Festival is organised by Tire Company Debica S.A. and Goodyear Dunlop Tires Polska. Performances were also given by HEY, Molesta Ewenement, Dawid Kwiatkowski, xxanaxx, Fair Weather Friends as well as Eskaubei & Tomasz Nowak Quartet and by the finalists of the “Good Sounds” project. During a vote the audience decided that the winner of the young band competition was Tubas Składowski formation.
Then at the main stage called Goodstage, the forerunners of the Polish hip-hop music, gave their performance. Their show was a real sensation, beaming with energy. Next musical about-turn happened and the audience could enjoy Dawid Kwiatkowski who performed his most popular tracks. All of a sudden he presented his interpretation of “If you loved, hey” song, originally performed by Breakout band that came from Rzeszow. The last performance for the gathered audience was given by HEY band, a legend of the Polish rock, whereas Katarzyna Nosowska won hearts of the crowds with her extraordinary charisma.
“This year’s edition of the Goodfest Music Festival was an exceptional blend of music of various kinds including but not limited with rock, pop, hip-hop and jazz. Thanks to the exceptional blend of music kinds we managed to create an event where every music lover could find something for himself/herself” – says Melania Popiel, the Communication Director at Tire Company Debica and Goodyear Dunlop Tires Polska.
However during the Goodfest Festival not only music can be enjoyed. Starting from 11.00 a.m. at the Debica market square the Debica dwellers could enjoy the activities at Safety Town and in the Safe Driving Zone. At the Wisloka Sports Club’s stadium the Festival goers could visit the catering zone with the show given of Pawel Kibart, a well known partriciant of the Top Chef TV programme and enjoy interactive workshops and events for children. Thanks to special interactive exhibition one could, among others, get familiar with the physical laws applicable to aerodynamics.
During 2015 Goodfest Festival the personnel of Tire Company Debica and Goodyear Dunlop Tires Polska could enjoy special “Employee Zone” at the Wisłoka Stadium, where a lot of attractions for children and youth were offered and also refreshments. On 20th June in the Saturday morning all interested persons could visit the Debica manufacturing plant. During the Open Day the number of plant visitors exceeded 1000 people.
The Goodfest is a music festival held every year. Previously it was organised under the name of “Debica for Debica" for more than 10 years. It is a combination of company picnic and the performances given by renowned and liked artists of the Polish music stage. This year Goodfest Festival attracted almost 10 thousand strong audience during the overall day.
