Tire Company Debica S.A. supported campaign titled “Safe Road to School”, organized by the City Hall at Debica. The campaign is targeted at future first graders who will start learning at schools already in September. The campaign aims at teaching them the rules of safe behavior on the roads and to make them aware that threats they may encounter on the road to school. Each new pupil will receive a safety kit, funded by T.C. Debica S.A, which includes but is not limited to high visibility vests, high visibility bag for footwear, warning triangles to be attached to school bags and a coloring book promoting rules of safe behavior on the road.

„Children are exposed to hazards in particular due to the lack of knowledge of road traffic rules. We want the youngsters to be visible on the road, to wear high visibility vests, especially after nightfall, which enhances safety a great deal. The significance of education of young participants of road traffic is the best evidenced by statistics: each year the death toll on European roads exceeds 800 children below 15 years of age, whereas another 100 000 children is injured. Therefore already for the forth time Tire Company Debica S.A. jointed the campaign titled “Safe Road To School” – said Monika Garduła, PR Manager at Tire Company Debica S.A.
