Debica - The Strongest Polish Tire Brand
Debica was upgraded in the Ranking of Most Valueable Polish Brands, prepared by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily <br /> <br /> T.C. Debica is ranked amongst top five most frequently selected brands in Poland and occupies 14th position amongst the strongest non-food product brands and is number one in the category of Polish tire makers. In general classification the Debica brand occupies 110th position according to the 10th Ranking of Most Valuable Polish Brands, published by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily.

Debica is ranked amongst top five most frequently selected brands in Poland and occupies 14th position amongst the strongest non-food product brands and is number one in the category of Polish tire makers. In general classification the Debica brand occupies 110th position according to the 10th Ranking of Most Valuable Polish Brands, published by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily.
Amongst 60 assessed strongest brands, T.C. Debica occupies 18th position in the brand awareness category, which means it was upgraded by fourth position against 2012 ranking. Brand awareness implies that consumers are familiar with the brand and it performs a major role in the buyers' decision making process. The Debica brand was also classified on 14th position in the category of reference index, which defines the percentage of brand users ready to recommend it to other people.
“Strong position of Debica brand in the ranking prepared by the Rzeczpospolita daily implies that it has been well known by the Poles for many years now and it raises confidence. Our brand has also occupied good positions in each of the previous editions of the Ranking of Polish Brands, which was thanks to high quality of our tires, battle tested and appreciated by millions of drivers” – said Jacek Pryczek, President of Management Board of Tire Company Debica S.A.
While preparing its ranking the “Rzeczpospolita” evaluated more than 330 most valuable Polish brands with the aggregate value of almost PLN 60 billion. In the ranking 199 brands were upgraded including Debica, whereas 108 brands were downgraded. In the Ranking the Debica brand outstripped such competitive, recognized brands as e.g. Gazeta Wyborcza, Hortex, Śnieżka, Empik or Wyborowa.
In 2013 Tire Company Debica S.A. was ranked on 54th place on the list of 100 top fastest growing listed companies, drawn up by “Forbes” the prestigious economic magazine. The Company won a general score of 5.14, overtaking such renowned companies as PZU insurance company, KGHM copper conglomerate, Pekao universal bank or InterCars automotive spare parts supplier. The Company was also distinguished by the consumers. The tires sold under Debica brand were the most frequently indicated in the “Good Product 2012”, national survey on consumer attitudes and preferences. The survey was carried out by the editorial office of “Business Forum” a supplement to the ‘Dziennik Gazeta Prawna’ daily.
In 2013 Tire Company Debica S.A. received also Top Employers certificate, which is awarded each year by an international CRF Institute to the companies that pursue the best HR policy. Additionally this year the Company won the title of export leader on the list of Top Businesses in the Subcarpathian Region. In the annual ranking of the ”Golden Top 100”, the Debica-based tire maker received distinctions in the following categories: net profit, share of exports in total sales, headcount level and top stock exchange capitalization. It is another year in a row when Tire Company Debica S.A. won this distinction.
Additionally Tire Company Debica S.A. was ranked on 46th position in the group of 400 major companies in Poland that were ranked in the category of industrial companies on the list that was drawn up jointly by Bisnode D&B Polska, a business intelligence agency and the ”Gazeta Finansowa” financial weekly. The major criterion of the list were revenues generated in 2012. In 2012 Tire Company Debica S.A. generated revenues exceeding PLN 2.1 billion and consequently it outstripped such companies as e.g. Orlen Gaz Sp. z o.o., Grupa Azoty S.A., Mostostal Warszawa S.A. or Stalprodukt S.A.
