Debica for Little Europeans
Tire Company Debica S.A. supports proprietary project targeted at educational institutions
Tire Company Debica S.A. extended its financial support to the City Nursery School No. 1 at Debica, which has been implementing for some time now an international co-operation project titled “Little Europeans - Me and You”.
The project objective is to establish co-operation, to exchange experience, but first and foremost to provide effective training and education based on the latest global trends. The grand opening of this year’s edition of the programme will be held on the coming Thursday, 30th October that will be called the Belgium Day.
„For four years now we have been supporting the project run by the City Nursery School No. 1 at Debica, because the project is based on multiculturalism and co-operation. These two areas are key to the functioning of the personnel of modern company such as Tire Company Debica S.A. who on a day-to-day basis operate in an international environment within the Goodyear Group ” – said Stanisław Cieszkowski, President of the Management Board of Tire Company Debica S.A.
The project titled “Little Europeans – Me and You” is targeted at kids falling into 3+ age category. In the project educational institutions are involved with various status (state, public, private) from such countries as: Russia, Ukraine, France, Iceland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Poland.
"Little Europeans – Me and You" project shows that children have unlimited capabilities. When it comes to their development, we do not follow stereotypes. The project is highly recognised outside Poland and consequently it promotes Poland, the achievements of the Debica educational institutions, but also promotes sponsors that support its implementation” – said Anna Szczepanik, Headmistress of the City Nursery School No. 1 at Debica.
The “Little Europeans – Me and You” project is run based on such programmes as:
“There is Such a Place in Europe” – getting to know the European countries, their national symbols, selected architectural sights, cultural events and cooking recipes.
“Let’s Meet” – various ways for integration.
"Exchange of educational thoughts in selected areas of work with a small kid” – conferences, study visits, consultations and meetings.
