Debica Again Ranked Among Most Valuable Polish Brands

Debica again appreciated by the consumers
The Debica brand was ranked among the Most Valuable Polish Brands, standing out of the best market position and boasting of the highest prestige and recognition of the Polish consumers.

Already for the 12th time the “Rzeczpospolita” daily presented the list of Most Valuable Polish Brand. The list of appreciated brands once again contains the Debica brand. In the category of brand value the Debica brand outstripped, among others, such brands as Yes, Gazeta Wyborcza or CCC.

The brand value is closely related with its current strength and recognisability among customers, which is, no doubt, the case of Debica brand. For many years now the Debica products have been widely recognized in the marketplace, which is reflected by the mini list, showing what brands are recalled spontaneously by the customers – on this list the Debica brand occupied high 7th place. The attachment to the Debica brand is also shown by the reference index, determining the percentage of customers – brand users – willing to refer the brand to other people. In this category the Debica brand occupied 16th place, whereas in the category of frequency of picking up the Debica products – it occupied 21st place. All these factors contribute also to the brand strength. In 2015 Top 100 Strongest Brands the Debica brand was classified at 51st place,  higher than Polish television (TVP), the Polish Post or Play* mobile operator and in Top 20 strongest brands in the category “Other non-food products”.

This confirms the fact that the customers have confidence in us and that they appreciate the quality of our products, which is also visible in their willingness to recommend our tires to their families and friends. This result is the outcome of the commitment of all company associates, for whom such distinctions are special awards, because they are granted by the most demanding jury i.e. by the consumers” – said Stanisław Cieszkowski, the President of the Management Board of Tire Company Debica S.A.   

High position on the list of the Most Valuable Polish Brands is another major distinction for Debica granted in the last couple of weeks. In November, second year in a row Debica was awarded “Superbrands 2015/2016” title and “Created in Poland Superbrands 2015/2016” title, which is a special award granted exclusively to the brands with the Polish origin. These confirm the established Debica position in the Polish market.

 

The Debica brand has already permanently gone down in economic history of Poland, but primarily the history of the Subcarpathian region. This is evidenced by the opinions of experts who on the occasion of presentation of the results of the report on the Subcarpathian Region attractiveness – commissioned to TNS Polska by the provincial authorities (the Marshal Office) – listed Debica among the companies that are showpieces of the Subcarpathian region. The presence of the brand with such strong market position, which is at the same time one of major employers and exporters in the region, has material impact on the perception of the overall region. The survey results also showed that the Subcarpathian Region attractiveness is higher and higher both in economic and touristic terms.


*The brand strength survey was carried out by Millward Brown for the “Rzeczpospolita” daily in October this year using an individual interview method in the random sample of 1200 people, falling into 15+ age category, coming from the towns with the population exceeding 20 thousand inhabitants.
